Islamic Relief Libyan crisis

Islamic Relief is an independent NGO founded in 1984 in the UK. The worldwide office is based in the UK and others 25 are between Asia and Europe,  one of them in Italy.

Due to the Libyan crisis in February 2011,  thousands of refugees (from Bangladesh, Vietnam, Somalia, Egypt, Nigeria, Mali) crossed the Tunisian border in Ras Jdir. They have found shelter 8km far from the border in the Choucha refugees camp. Islamic Relief has been the first association in Italy to make a call for fund raising and who sent food aid, medicins, water and voluntaries directly to the camp.
